We congratulate our client Architectural Engineers, Inc. (“AEI”) on their sale to IMEG Corp. (“IMEG”).
Founded in 1985, Boston-based AEI has offered MEP/FP, low-voltage, and lighting design services throughout Massachusetts and New England for more than 35 years, providing skillful and thorough work on a wide variety of projects within the airport, education, government, healthcare, and transit markets.

IMEG has over 1,500 employees and specializes in high-performing building systems, infrastructure, program management, and construction-related services, and joining IMEG will allow for accelerated growth and an expansion of career opportunities for AEI’s leadership and staff.
AEI joined two other firms that were acquired by IMEG on the last day of the year and 2021 saw IMEG acquire six new firms over the 12-month period including five new office locations. The addition of AEI will be IMEG’s first location in the Northeastern United States.
