Matt Fultz joined Matheson Financial Advisors in 2009 and is now a Director. He is responsible for project engagement, client management, valuation modeling and analysis, and provides market research and responsibilities related to business valuations, strategic capitalization analyses, ESOPs and ownership transitions, and merger and acquisition (M&A) engagements. 

Matt has experience as an associate with the Venture Finance team at ORIX USA, where he was responsible for evaluating prospective investment opportunities, due diligence, industry research, financial modeling and analysis, and creating investment memorandums. He also has experience as a Senior Financial Analyst with The Bear Companies and Financial Analyst in the Financial Institutions Groups at Friedman Billings Ramsey. 

Matt graduated from Virginia Tech in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance. He holds the Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) and Series 79 (Investment Banking) registrations, and is a registered representative for M&A transactions offered through McLean Securities, LLC. He has completed the business valuation and appraisal program with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA),
